Overview
BestSAIDByU is a Community Interest Company based in West Hertfordshire but with remote connectivity to all areas of the UK – offering a Resource Space for Male Psychological Health.
We are fully independent, small and humble – focussing our time and energy on collaboration and support provision – making a genuine and open offering to Resource in a discreet, respectful and compassionate way.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a free and accessible Psychological Health Resource Space for young and adult males. We strive to achieve this through various activities, including organizing talking therapy sessions and collaborating with other community groups. We also work to provide practical information via websites, seminars, and workplaces, while aspiring to create, manage, and promote supportive physical spaces.

Qualifiers
Uniqueness – Psychological health holds different meanings and exists in diverse contexts for each individual. The uniqueness of every person, shaped by their environment and experiences, naturally leads to a process that is inherently personal and singular. We recognise and respect each person, along with their unique situation and circumstances.
Autonomy – We believe in fostering individual autonomy by honouring each person’s right to make choices that align with their values, needs, and experiences. Our approach is grounded in trust and collaboration, creating space for self-directed growth and decision-making. We’re here to offer resource if needed and respect the principle of you steering your own journey.

1- Provide Free Talking Therapy for Adult Males and Young Adult Males in an expedient, respectful and considerate manner for those whom may not otherwise have access to such resource.
2- Establish connections and collaborate with local men’s clubs and community groups in the promotion and provision of free resource.

3 – Create informative and accessible materials designed to increase awareness of how social, biological, and cultural influences can affect a person’s ability to access and understand psychological health support. These resources will explore how stigma, environment, social and biological factors can act as obstacles to male psychological health. They will also offer a clear realistic and rational explanation of what individuals can expect from therapy and the benefits of this process. The aim is to encourage greater understanding and inclusivity in the way psychological resources are approached and experienced.

4- Presentation of the resource materials through groups, website, blog, seminar and workplace etc.
5- Sourcing and managing our own actual spaces, providing locations, settings and supportive environments.
